Have you planned your summer holiday yet? We've seen the effects of the recent flight disruptions ... if you haven't had a family holiday in Britain for a while this would be a great year to do it. Here in Cornwall we have fabulous beaches and loads of activities on land and sea, as well as museums, gardens and more to keep you busy.

If you're not yet bound by school holidays, the months of May, June and early July are perfect for holidays with babies and toddlers. Less busy than the school holidays, with quieter beaches, warm weather and long days, you will also benefit from off-peak rates.

You can while away happy hours on the safe, sandy beach at the end of our lane, making sandcastles or paddling. We've got beautiful gardens overlooking the sea where you can relax with a drink while your little ones run around on the lawns. There is an indoor pool, a children's den and all the baby and toddler equipment you could wish for ... right down to buckets and spades! Our apartments have mini-kitchens so you can have breakfast or snacks whenever you like - and of course you can eat in our dining room, which serves delicious, home-made food all day.

Beaches, boats, picnics and friends - summer holidays are a time for relaxing and enjoying good company. There are 15 apartments at the Rosevine (including our 3 new Slate House apartments) so you will never feel overwhelmed with too many people. It's easy for children to find new friends and spend hours making dens in the grounds, hanging out in the play area or enjoying the games, books and computer games we have in the children's den. Within half an hour of the Rosevine, there are lots of places to explore - have a look at some of our family favourites.

National Trust

This summer we are supporting the National Trust - they own Porthcurnick Beach at the end of the lane, and the Coastal Path which stretches for hundreds of miles. A voluntary donation of £1 will be added to your bill, and we will match the donations at the end of the season. You can of course choose not to pay this, or pay more if you wish.

Awards and features

We have just submitted our entry for the Cornwall Tourism Awards so fingers crossed!  We're also delighted to have been included in The Times' "Top 50 places to eat al fresco" last month.
