There’s no doubt that spring is firmly in the air, the sun is shining and the days are getting longer. May is looking very busy, with just a couple of quieter spots – funnily enough coinciding with the general election!
So we thought we would put together a special offer for those of you want to escape election fever!

May Getaway

May Getaway

Getaway in May for just £195 per night in a family apartment or £135 in the new Slate House studios and get a credit of £30 against your food bill. Because we provide mini-kitchen facilities in your apartment, a bed and breakfast offer may not be what you need. This way, you can choose what suits you – put it towards a full english breakfast, a leisurely lunch, afternoon tea or supper. See the website for more details and terms and conditions.

Focus on food

We’re delighted to have our old friend, chef Tony Duce on board. He’s been busy coming up with delicious dishes such as Seafood Compote and Chicken Liver Parfait with Onion Jam & home-made bread. Our dining room is open throughout the day, serving breakfast from 9am. You don’t have to be staying with us to eat here. Call in for a cream tea, a spot of lunch or book for supper. We provide child-friendly versions of our meals, and children are welcome to play in the den or outside in the garden while you’re here. See our menu here

Activities on our doorstep

The Roseland peninsula is a beautiful spot, and the weather is typically milder here on the south coast, compared to the more rugged north coast. There are lots of different activities for you to enjoy, whether you are looking for action and adventure or more gentle pleasures. Read our guide here...
